We promise a mix of innovative acts in street- and contemporary dance with elements of uplifting breaking- and vogue when the next generation of dancers from all over the region meets established stars.

Right from the lobby bar you enter a festival atmosphere with music and dance, and to celebrate the evening we invite everyone who wants to dance to the grand after-party.

Among the names presented in this year’s edition of the GBG Dance Festival are international integrated break dance crew ILL-Abilities ™, locking-icon FireLock from New York, popping-champion Gucchon from Japan and street dancer Niki Tsappos from Stockholm.

The evening is divided into Sweden Dance Delight – an international race, where the winner will travel to Japan to represent Sweden; Rookie Showcase Competition – a platform for the next generation of dancers and Platform X – the artistic part where the invited dancers take their dancing to a new level. The theme of this year’s Platform X is equality.
